WikiDanceSport – The Official Encyclopedia of DanceSport

In today’s world, we are used to having information at our fingertips. We all, from time to time, search the internet for people, events, organizations and history. We all know how difficult it is to find one place where we can learn about the DanceSport industry and everything related to it. This is where WikiDanceSport took its place.

What is WikiDanceSport? It is a free-access true Wikipedia engine allowing anyone to collaboratively participate in creating an encyclopedically correct data hub for the DanceSport industry to promote this sport throughout the world. Anyone can contribute, no matter if you are a professional or just someone who enjoys this sport.

How did it come about? After coming together as a dancing, competitive couple, Igor Golovach and Michelle-Angela Blank began studying for exams to become certified dance instructors, and soon realized the lack of industry-specific information and the ease of finding this information. Together, they recognized the need for a community data center which would provide all dance admirers with a one-stop information hub. The idea was to create an encyclopedia that would become an information center for all things DanceSport.

On December 22, 2015, Igor Golovach and Michelle-Angela Blank launched the first version of the official encyclopedia of DanceSport, which has now brought together viewers from over 110 countries, and is quickly becoming the milestone point of acquiring knowledge about the people, organizations, and events of DanceSport.

How do we gather info? Through extensive research and interviews, WikiDanceSport is able to construct profiles on various topics for all things DanceSport.
WikiDanceSport invites anyone who would like to engage in the growth of the Encyclopedia of DanceSport. The editors are always in reach with just an email or phone call away. Make your mark so that generations to come will have a better way to learn more about this wonderful thing called DanceSport.
