The Kings Ball was a first for me, and I was impressed with how the organizers have created a wonderfully welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all competitors, whether amateur or professional.

Ohio Star Ball Professional Ballroom Championships
As an adjudicator there are no standards set for you other than the ones you set for yourself. A while ago I was invited to judge a competition in London and the Chairman of Adjudicators at the judges’ meeting reminded us “to judge without fear or favor and without taking previous results into consideration.” Since that day, that has been the standard to which I hold myself.
