Jean-Marc has been involved in the ballroom dance world literally for his whole life. His grandfather, Charles Casanave, was the originator of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio Franchise in partnership with Mr. Astaire.
At the time of his death Jean-Marc was the studio Licensee for the Boca Raton Fred Astaire Dance Studio but he was also well-known for his work with American Ballroom Company and as an MC at various competitions.
