“Aloha”
We are coming to the end of our trip to the Hawai’i Star Ball in Honolulu, Hawai’i, and it’s once again a time to reflect on this beautiful location on earth and the great times one has had competing, dancing, surfing, or just being with the spirit of “Aloha.”
Dancing Over The Rainbow!
It has been three years since we last flew over the rainbow to attend the Hawai’i Star Ball.
All Left the Same!
Last night at the Hawaii Star Ball the evening concluded with the Open Professional competitions, but in the end it was basically the same result from the night before, with the exception of the Open Professional Ballroom and Smooth where a few extra couples entered, the other two events had basically the same result.

Aloha!
Once again October the 6, 2018 the Hawaii Star Ball came to an end with everyone holding hands and singing what is till today a very popular song in the Hawaiian custom, “Hawai’i Aloha.”
Nothing Can Put Shade on Hawai’i!
The Hawai’i Star Ball in Honolulu, Hawai’i, was once again a major success even when they lost power and light for two hours during the Saturday daytime session, making some of the dancers a little should we say, “shady,” for lack of a better word.

Pro Smooth keeps the lights on at Hawaii Star Ball
The Pro Smooth was the highlight of the day.

Set in the very center of the Pacific Ocean is the most remote major population center in the world – Hawai’i. I have been traveling to this most remote of locations for more than 20 years and the reason has always been the “star” – The Hawai’i Star Ball, now under the direction of David Alvarez & John Fishpaw.
