Going back to Hawai’i for the Hawai’i Star Ball was very emotional and a wonderful feeling of enjoyment came over me when I arrived! Emotional because before the new Organizer, Mr. David Alvarez ,took over, the  Hawai’i Star Ball was canceled for 2013, something totally unprecedented since it has been going strong for over 20 years and to miss a year was a difficult decision that I’m sure Mr. Geoffrey Fells, the creator and former organizer, did not want to make.
