I want to talk about some places in downtown L.A. if you get a chance to go there. There are 3 restaurants all near each other owned by the wonderful chef Josef Centeno; Bar Ama, Orsa & Winston and Baco Mercat, downtown all within a block of each other. Fabulous eclectic food in a casual atmosphere.

Let's go to Orange County now where the Embassy Championships are being held.

At Fashion Island there are 3 fine restaurants: Red O by Rick Bayless, Fig & Olive and for you health nuts, True Food Kitchen.

Near the South Coast Plaza area is a very good Spanish themed restaurant: Vaca.

One of my favorites in Laguna Beach is Nick's on PC 1. My favorite is their famous Fish Sandwich.

Finally there is an Asian themed food mall at Jamboree and Alton Pkw.. Many restaurants to choose from, Japanese, Thai, Korean, etc..
