Now obviously this isn’t New York or Las Vegas, but the surrounding mountains make you feel like there is no other place you would rather be.
There are some great gems in Provo and the nearby area. Because of the diversity of the student body of B.Y.U., there are many very good ethnic restaurants in the area, but the place to go in Provo is COMMUNAL, a very small place with a communal table, several small tables and the kitchen is right in front of you. Fabulous seasonal food in a cozy friendly atmosphere!

If you feel like venturing outside the Provo area, there are some great places to eat. With a short 15-20 minute drive you will arrive at the beautiful Sundance Resort. Have dinner in the TREE ROOM, a truly magnificent room with great food and wine. One of the most relaxing atmospheres I’ve ever been in.

Venturing a little further out, you get to Park City, home of the Sundance Film Festival. There are a lot of nice restaurants up and down Main Street, but my favorite is a saloon, the NO NAME SALOON with the best buffalo burgers around.

Drive over to The Canyons Resort, which has multiple hotels and skiing options. My favorite restaurant is THE FARM, with wonderful farm to table food.
BON APPETITE!!!!!
